Property Tax Refund

This section asks if 2 items pertain to you, i.e. I can't remember exactly now what they were, but I answered "No" and it told me I did not qualify for this refund. Then it proceeds to fill in the form and tells me I get a refund. Very confusing. I found the same thing last year and did not file the form. Do I get a refund or don't I? This area needs work. Other than that, Turbo Tax is the best thing ever. Thank you for making my life easy at tax time.

I helped my son with his taxes for the first time. It was a piece of cake. Turbo Tax provide all the explanations he needed.
What's great about it: easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

like the deduction help

Turbo Tax was very fast and easy for the most part. When it came to working on the depreciation inputs, it had me enter info for past returns. Why did the program not have that info because I used Turbo Tax for several years before? It would help greatly, because I the forms numbers and lines it told me to go to did not seem to exsist. I am still unsure if I did that correctly.
What's great about it: having it figure market price for donated items
What's not so great: I still do not uderstand the section on depreciation of my computer used for record keeping

I've been a promotor of Turbo Tax for many years, but was very disappointed this year. I had to basically pay double the price since I tried the online version and then had to go and buy the CD. It was even difficult to complete the review. I almost quit trying to come up with an acceptable nick name!
What's great about it: Navigation tools
What's not so great: Used online version and paid for it, but then found out it was better to use the CD version for my children's returns.

Fast and Easy

I have used TurboTax for several years and find it simple and easy to use. I had my return before my ipad app had an estimated refund payment date.
What's great about it: Easy, year over year carryover, simple to follow for return with basic deductibles
What's not so great: Waiting for updates each time I open; turbotax ipad app

Difficulty efiling

Three of us in our family did our taxes and it was effortless, but in each case we had to try multiple times before we were able to successfully transmit our files successfully
What's great about it: Very easy to complete tax returns...almost mindless

Walked Me Through It

Turbo Tax makes it easy to compile and easy to file as it walks you through the process.
What's great about it: It asked ALL the questions and provided explainations
What's not so great: Could receie only on update at a time; I downloaded updates 3 times in one 30 minute session.
