Always makes my life easier

Turbo Tax does not treat me like I'm an idiot and it does not treat me like a tax pro. I've used Turbo Tax for years and TT toook the fear out of doing my taxes.
What's great about it: Import, does the calcs, remembers to ask about topics

For most American tax payers, this does the job effectively, easily, and cost efficiently.
What's great about it: Appreciate being able to prepare easily by myself and at my own convenience.
What's not so great: None.

some confusion

Not as easy to use as last year. confused on how to enter
CA state "Revised balance due" amount received in a letter mid year re 2012 state tax.
Still don't understand, after using Turbo Tax for many years, there was an underpayment for 2012 tax year.

What's not so great: previous year, balance due payment entry, not clear as to where and how to enter

Old Faithful TurboTax

I've used this product for several years and always with a great deal of confidence. My returns have never been questioned by the taxing agencies. Thanks for keeping up to date with all the shenanigans in Washington.
What's great about it: Gets it done thoroughly, quickly and with peace of mind.
What's not so great: I miss the "Save" file button.

Easy process to file your taxes. All the forms you might need all on-line. Detail tax code available for specific questions but I never have to use it.

2013 Tax Return

I have used Turbotax for several years, without problems. This time, however, the e-file function just did not work, crashing at the validation stage. I checked for and downloaded available updates 3-4 times, and it still would not work. E-filing is one the main reasons I use Turbotax, so I was sorely disappointed that it did not work. updates
