This was a great experience. My only suggestion would be to include more definitions for what certain terms mean. Most of them were highlighted and had an explanation, but there were still a few in some of the questions I wasn't certain about.
I will definitely recommend this to all of my friends. It was about as simple as I could imagine tax filing could be!
What's great about it: Pointed out lots of refunds I didn't even realize I qualified for
What's not so great: Small glitch on my Mac, but SUPER easy fix once I called in

Problems not addressed

2013 program not as friendly as earlier versions. Repeated program loops regarding state tax, sales tax, and difficulty finding actual "send".
What's not so great: Difficulty entering actual sales tax. Program preferred estimated sales tax. FAQ's no help.

You have to still be aware and look for things that you might have missed. Look at all the forme and possibilities. Look at the last few years. Look at all the boxes (both filled in and not filled in)
What's great about it: Can do the step by step or forms and switch between them at any stage.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Good Stuff

I've been using TurboTax for about ten years now and have had good experiences each time. Fort the relatively simple tax forms I have to file, TurboTax makes filing very easy.
What's great about it: Makes filing relatively easy
What's not so great: Can't think of any cons considering we're working with the IRS

I will likely be a lifelong Turbotax filer. The ease of this product is what brings me back. It makes it fun to file taxes when you can watch the dollar amount change. 2013 state Turbo tax product seemed to have some flaws. It took me down roads unnecessarily and used terms without explaining them as they had in previous years. Twice I had to google the term and found neither applied to me. I wondered why the system thought it had. I have to assume it was not my responses because the error check didn't find inconsistencies or call me on leaving areas blank. I hope these bugs are resolved in subsequent year versions...
What's great about it: Having information Transfer, organized and helpful with tax law
What's not so great: Not as intuitive as previous years

I've used TurboTax for many years and have been very happy with the product and my resulting tax returns. The software is easy to use with very simple prior year data transfer & review vs. current year tax preparation.
What's great about it: software is easy to use with simple prior year data transfer & review vs. this year
