Have used turbo tax for many years - during complicated and easy filings. It has always been clear, concise and relatively easy to work with. Never had a problem.

Good except for CON

When I entered my deduction for the auto ( over $600) we donated it mention Form 8453, when we filed our taxes, the program did not say anything about Form 8453. So I had to look the Form up to determine what to do and where to sent it.
What's great about it: Good
What's not so great: Did not process auto deduction completely

Bank charge is too high to just deposit refund into my checking account. I just might mail my taxes next year to avoid those charges.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Don't like the back charges and the state filing fee, my state offers free filing.

I have used it for many years and it gets better every year. Not possible to make mistakes if you are honest in your responses.
What's great about it: ease of use, just answer the questions, returns are prepared, e filed, just that simple

Fairly easy.

I've used Turbo Tax for quite a few years but decided last year to use a CPA. After paying her huge bill I have gone back to Turbo Tax. Doing it yourself makes you more aware of where all the money goes (almost).
What's not so great: Filing taxes shouldn't be so "mind-numbing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TURBO TAX 2013

I have used TURBO tax for 2 years, Initially I was concerned that I was techniclogically challenged and would not be able to do this, but was pleasantly surprised. Great tool !
What's great about it: efficient, friendly, thorough and much more affordable than going to have taxes done
What's not so great: difficult to tell if anything is happening after clinking on any icon
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Always trustworthy

I've been using TurboTax for many years now and find it easy to use and definitely decreases amount of time required to enter data. This is particularly true of trading data from my brokerage accounts.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Some updating confusing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The e-filing portion of the returns were very smooth. I will definitely come back to Turbo Tax next year.
What's great about it: I liked the progression through the tax return. Easy to understand.
What's not so great: More detailed than I was used to but it got the job done.
