High-Five for Turbo Tax!

I've been with Turbo Tax for about five years and I absolutely love the convenience of completing my taxes at home for a feasible cost. Most importantly, I am so grateful for having the control over my taxes and knowing the current tax rules and deduction guidelines. It's my funds, so the knowledge is power!
What's great about it: Easy, Efficient, Accurate

Done at last!

This is the first year I had to deal with kiddie tax and I am happy TurboTax does that calculation. It was relatively painless although the process could be improved if I could link the parents' return prepared on TurboTax with the child's return (also on TurboTax).
I had over 30 pages print on my federal return - not all were required to be filed. Wish there was a way to bypass printing them.
What's great about it: Does a great job on the kiddie tax!
What's not so great: Too many worksheets print. Should be a way to eliminate extraneous worksheets.

Makes tax time SO easy!

I love the ease of using Turbo Tax - especially from year to year as it retrieves and imports data for you. I like the step-by step questions and review of each section. Turbo Tax has links to answer questions you may not be sure of - so you can easily confirm whether or not that particular income or deduction applies to you. The format is easy to follow and easy to find categories you've already addressed. Also - shows your refund or amount due as you are working - you can see immediately how a various deduction improves your tax situation - or not. Easy to e-file or print and mail in.
What's great about it: Simple, user -friendly, step by step guidance, easy to go back to edit categories

merge files

last year a pdf was saved and this year the systme failed to merge the file. also noticed that this year pdf was the only format available again.....hope I don't have another merge issue....re-entering is a pain

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have recommended this product to many people. It's ease of use is its finest feature and I wouldn't change as long as it remains basically the same.

Easy Process

Turbo Tax is very user friendly. It took me step-by-step through the tax return filing process. I never felt lost. The questions asked was clear. I recommend this product for individuals who have limited knowledge of tax law, or who is just too busy or cannot afford an accountant to prepare their tax returns. I have used this product for several years. I was never disappointed.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is very user friendly.
