With doing the taxes before on Turbo Tax I knew what I needed to have.

Great, but can still be improved

I've used Turbotax for many years, almost since its inception. I like the way the changes to the program from year to year are minimal. Downloading data from a financial institution is VERY powerful and a big time saver. I cannot imaging trying to do my taxes manually. It would be simply impossible. But with Turbotax , I can still do them myself.
Entering K-1s and doing foreign tax credits is a real chore and I'd like to see that improved. It would also be helpful if overrides of certain items were allowed to correct spelling errors and typos.
What's great about it: Carryovers, detail
What's not so great: K-1 and Foreign tax credits entries

very good, except for state

Once I click no children, you could stop with the kid questions. And once I say no foreign money, income, expenses, you could stop with those questions. I like the details about odd tax situations. There was a problem with obtaining a state program. I entered my credit card, etc and clicked pay but it kept going back to review. It would not go to receipt or verified purchase (whatever that last tab is). I attributed it to the system being overwhelmed this close to tax day. Whoever checks and verifies your program is excellent!! I have used Turbo tax since version 2. I only had one error and it was me, I forgot to include some income. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: calculations excellent, form flow excellent
What's not so great: could not purchase state, did not go past review

Ive used Turbo Tax for years and it's easy for me and prompt on returns as Federal and State recognizes the accuracy.
What's great about it: I like the ease of the walk through that lets me prepare my own return without mistakes or deductions that I might miss

Great Tax Software

This is a great software with which to complete your taxes. It never takes too long to finish them up. And I think it's conducts a very thorough explanation on areas to complete. Since I don't own a business, I can't comment on those sections. But for what I use, this is a great software.
What's great about it: Runs through all (or at least most, since I'm not sure about other areas I don't have to worry about).
What's not so great: Could be a little more user friendly.

I like the Turbo Tax walks you through every detail I no longer get great refunds but when I did Turbo Tax was there with all the knowledge making sure I do not miss anything. They make sure you haven't forgotten items to include like supplies needed for the job (Used to (teach) or groups you have contributed to Red Cross. Turbo Tax is just Great.
What's great about it: Bringing last years information into the new tax year
What's not so great: No cons - I have been a turbo tax user for as long as I can remember

Kinda disapointed with the help

I have used turbo tax for a few years and haven't had issues but this year I couldn't get my state return to e file. I tried and it kept bouncing back. Problem is turbo tax kept saying it was one of these 13 things and there was no help that I could get with it. Kinda bummed and not sure if I will use you guys next year
What's great about it: Overall easy to add deductions
What's not so great: Wouldn't help me with what I did wrong
