Efficient update

My state (MN) needed an update after I had already completed my taxes. Turbo-tax warned me and very efficiently made all the corrections.

Even though i have to pay in, TurboTax is the best

I recommend TurboTax to everybody, my entire family and all my friends. I love going through turbo tax and i tried so many companies this year and turbotax was by far my best bet...the people are always helpful and willing to be patient with me.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax people are the most helpful
What's not so great: I have to pay in to the fed. and state

I had not logged on to my computer as the administrator and after COMPLETING my federal form I was not allowed download the state forms that I had paid for. Switching over to "administrator" TurboTax required me to restart the entire filing process and THEN allowed me to download the state forms and complete my taxes.
A statement at the beginning of this process telling me of the necessity to log on as the administrator would have saved me a lot of displeasure in what is normally an easy task.

Easy as Pie

I had some changes in 2013, (divorce, unemployment) so I was nervous about filing this year. Turbo Tax made it extremely easy to understand any changes in my status. Explanations I could understand!! Thank you Turbo Tax!

I have used Turbo Tax for years and love it! This is my daughter's and she had been unemployed from May 2013 until late March 2014. She needed to review the info on health insurance. Her present job will not offer insurance until 6 mos of employment. Plan to have her review.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions
What's not so great: I had trouble at the end because asked questions about health insurance.

by court order I have to do my tax return 4 ways. One I claim both kids, one I claim no kids, one I claim one kid and my ex the other, and then try it again switching children. Then we meet and discuss. I have to enter everything 4 times. It would be nice to just be able to duplicate and change dependents.
What's great about it: simple to follow
What's not so great: won't allow copies of tax returns for same year with alternate deductions
