Good Program

It works and is user friendly. Total time to work my taxes was approximately 6 hours.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Special forms (K-1) are hard to enter.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

We've used Turbo Tax for many, many years but this year was a really rude awakening - we had to start drawing from our IRA's and as a result we have to pay an enormous bill - like several thousand which thank goodness we can pay - BUT information about paying this monthly was not easy to find. A huge shock, but we will survive and continue with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to do, easy to follow the directions - just plug in the numbers.
What's not so great: Not enough easily found answers to "Why ....."

TOO MUCH TROUBLE CHOOSING A NICKNAME !!!
What's great about it: I CAN SPEND AN "HOUR- A- DAY" IF I WANT OR BANG IT OUT IN ONE SITTING!
What's not so great: I HAD TO USE A NEW COMPUTER THIS YEAR AND MY PAST HISTORY WAS NOT CARRIED OVER FOR COMPARASON.

Tax submission was rejected ! !

Fed return rejected and also the state. Re-submission of fed was rejected but no info regarding state (MN) the second time. But I PAID FOR STATE AS WELL AS EXTRA $$ FOR TURBOTAX. I have to submit both by paper now. HOW ABOUT A REFUND ? ? ?
The help wasn't very helpful. I suspect I have an identity theft problem????
What's great about it: the software is straight forward
What's not so great: Too much duplicate printing with not alot of choices

The cost of state downloads and to efile is getting out of hand. You need to look at cost to us customers a lot more....

Frustrated

All excited about completing my taxes and e-file, only to find that I could not e-file because Turbo tax needed an update. I followed the instructions, downloaded the update, and after all was complete, it would still not allow me to e-file. Multiple attempts to update and e-file were made, and I am now mailing my taxes. Very disappointed!!!
What's great about it: Doing taxes was the easy part
What's not so great: Would not allow me to e-file because Turbo tax needed an update
