So Glad to be Finished!

Having moved to a new state and retired this year, my taxes were different from past returns, so I needed the guidance TruboTax provided. Thanks.
What's great about it: Loved that federal info transferred into state and regional returns.

Great TurboTax this year

Much cheaper than having a tax consultant do it for you, and you don't have to bundle up all your files and lug them to to consultant.
Also, reviews have shown that consultants often make mistakes and don't agree on how to tile.
I have been using TurboTax each year ever since it has been available.
What's great about it: The program has been much improved this year with no errors that I could detect.
What's not so great: It keeps getting more expensive each year

My thoughts about turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and intend to do so in the future. However, this year was the most difficult one that I have used to dare. Don't know why but after I had gone though the Fed and State taxes I wanted to let it set for a day or two before I filed. That was when I had problem getting back into the program. This was the first year that I had this problem.
What's great about it: Like the way it asked questions and going though each phase.
What's not so great: Getting back into my tax forms once I had took a break was not easy.

You all have takrn several steps backward:
It was diffulct to print State forms for filing while e-filing for Federal.
Hard to navigate through all the qyestions.
I had to print from the PDF - this was not plain to use.
A final problem was inputing the nickname. Why is it needed

I am pleased with TurboTax as a first time user. Disappointing is the printing of pdf when latter is saved. I had to print not the entire page range, but one page at a time because of print errors appearing within the download. Frustrating.
A TurboTax choice for RETIREES may be feasible.
Thanks for the experience.
What's great about it: Tutorial is great.
What's not so great: Downloads time consuming; print issues from pdf

Multiple state returns

Overall a positive experience with TurboTax considering I have used this product since the first year they started. I remember doing taxes using publications from the IRS. This has always been better.
What's great about it: I could do it all from home
What's not so great: Cost of additional state returns. Running through some of the forms gets to be tedious.
