not comfortable finding things

I thought it was easier on previous versions to have the interviewer talk and explain. even though I have used Turbo Tax for many years, each year I feel less comfortable that every thing was entered correctly. Example was this year I had incorrectly entered a state withhold and found it when I printed the state return before filing. I knew something was wrong but couldn't find the problem. After going through several iterations I found the screen where I had entered all my 1099-R information and discovered the error. In previous years it had been easier to go back and check the input info.
What's great about it: ease of input

Anyone can do this!

Love how it saves and transfers info from previous year, saves tons of time that way. Can do taxes anytime you want, don't have to schedule an appointment and share your info with strangers. Have used Turbo Tax every year since 2006 and have always been pleased!

Very good program to use. Robust, never crashed and no data loss. TurboTax does not have an option to allow cents fields in all forms. I look at this as a flaw because the amount helps to identify the entry. TurboTax does not print blank forms.
What's great about it: view completed forms, save return to pdf, explanations, importing from external accounts
What's not so great: no option to turn off dollar rounding

Great Product I've used for many many years. Ease of navigation and options. I always find the final phase a little awkward as I always want to E-file Fed and Print and mail State but it does not seem to flow smooth.
What's great about it: I like the ease from going from one tax year to the next and options on navigation. All in all it's a great product
What's not so great: dont like hunting and pecking for last years returns.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great way to do taxes

I have used this software for years and plan to continue using it. I like the consistency and reliability. However, I think navigation could be improved since I tend to go back and forth a lot and sometimes get lost.
What's great about it: Always good. Consistent and reliable year to year.
What's not so great: Navigation can be improved
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Retired Clergy Housing problem

The Retired Clergy Housing problem is rare enough that Turbo Tax is not designed to handle it. I went into a chat with a Turbo Tax consultant last year, and we found a work-around that the IRS accepted.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is quick and easy to use. It leads you through all of the necessary tax topics with plenty of explanation.
What's not so great: Entering income as Retired Clergy Housing so that it is not taxable is not easy to do.
