This year - NOT so great experience

Geez!
All prior years, Turbo downloaded all data from last years return (names, carryover credits etc). This year I had to enter ALL manually even though I restarted several times. Also, Date of purchase & cost basis of MOST trades from broker were missing or incorrect. In the correction phase of Turbo, while it would accept both a date AND an amount (which were missing), it would come back for a SECOND time and ask for data which was AREADY entered & visible..

but all in all it's a good program and tech support was very helpful and knowledgeable.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: had a tech problem with the software and wording was confusing.

2013 Turbo Tax

Very simple program. I look forward to filing my taxes like this from now on. I am very happy with how quick it was. I was scared to do my taxes until I used this program.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and quick.
What's not so great: I have children that I pay child support for but I don't have custody of. An explanation of deductions available would

The updates are of a concern to me. I have filed my taxes but how do I know there are not more updates that may have been needed.

Easy to use

I have used Turbo tax for several years. Each year it gets better and more user friendly. I like the prompts and the step by step process. It makes it hard to overlook anything.
What's great about it: I liked the step by step process and review.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and I trust it to be current with new tax laws,especially for teh California State return.
What's great about it: This year's version was much more user friendly, with more reviews that before.
What's not so great: I cannot tink of any negatives.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
