2013 Review

Program became non-responsive 6 times during data entry and 2 times while reviewing results. One of the times the program was just sitting awaiting my search for paper backup information. Each required a forced computer shutdown and restart to regain the position to continue.
This is the first time this has occurred in the many years I've used TurboTax. If it happens in a future year will be my last!
What's great about it: Ease of locating needed information and calculation results presented.
What's not so great: Program "died" repeatedly.

Great help!

It appears that I filed everything but Federal and the state of Illinois. Not sure how this could happen. Been waiting for my refund for a month. I have already received refunds from 2 states and paid on another.
What's great about it: I completed as time and data allowed
What's not so great: during submition, TaxACT(?) - leading me to believe it was part of Turbo Tax kept moving me to their web site

Easy filing once again!

Both my son and daughter-in-law are CPA's and when I asked him about doing my taxes he said," I use TURBO-TAX. Good enough for CPA's, good for me too.
What's great about it: Walks one through each step while holding your hand.
What's not so great: None come to mind.

Went from Owing to Refund

I've been using TurboTax for many years. Consistently easy to use and understand.
Helped me find a couple of extra deductions.
I will use again next year (the Good Lord willing)
What's great about it: Ability to manage multiple 1099 documents, and import some data electronically
What's not so great: Have to continually scroll to bottom to hit next button.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy to use

Easy to use. Been using Turbo Tax for about 30 years. Anticipates all the questions you need to answer.
What's great about it: I had just about everything change from last year and still had no real trouble working through everything.
What's not so great: Could use bigger pring for a lot of the things that are pop up information.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Loved the ease of use of this software and how it talks (so to speak) you through every step of the way. If you want to go back to change or update, very easy to find where to go.
What's great about it: Ease of Use
What's not so great: Like a calculator to be visible all the time

Self Confidence

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. Have always felt confident in case of any audits. All my records are available and easy to search, again in case of audits. Only draw back I've noticed is each year getting questions answered is more difficult or information is just not available. I never hesitate to recommend Turbo Tax to any who ask both for personal and/or business.
What's great about it: Good explanations for each form and question plus easy use to go back and forth in the program
What's not so great: Missing complete instructions such as gambling input for professionals. Assume all are recreational.
