Good Program

Did not fully understand the significance of Form 2106, even though I repeatedly answered the question to the best of my knowledge. I don't claim my truck for business expenses before, so why did I have to fill in that form, never did in past TurboTax programs, dating back to well over 10-years +.
What's great about it: Easy Step by Step
What's not so great: Trouble with one step, Form 2106

The program should prompt or allow a choice to delete form without having to search all over the place.

What's great about it: Transfer and comparison of previous Tax year info.
What's not so great: Hard to find out how to delete a form Schedule K this year other forms other years. Help screen finally gave guidance.

Turbo Tax is a great program. I use it for regular returns and llc returns. It makes a very difficult and time consuming effort bearable and ez to do.
What's great about it: easy to input info
What's not so great: tax laws are too confusing

Rough start, great finish

I've used TT Deluxe successfully for many years, but this year I had a little challenge getting started, because TT couldn't find my previous year's file. Worse still, when I tried to manually import the file, I couldn't find any guidance about what the file is called. I ended up entering a lot of data manually that could have been pre-entered. For next year, that first step could be made a bit simpler.
What's great about it: Very thorough
What's not so great: Confusion at at Step One

Comprehensive and easy to use.....especially if you filed in prior year using Turbo Tax....imports personal data from prior returns.
What's great about it: Methodical, organized, includes sufficient explanations
What's not so great: need easier, less time consuming way to go back to change prior entry

I have used Turbo Tax to prepare my tax returns for years and it gets easier to use every year..
