I used to have to get all the information ready for a tax preparer and pay 3 x as much for him to what I can do myself! Getting all the information organized is the hardest part of the process, so why not enter it yourself? It's easy!

I have used Quicken and Tubro Tax for over 20 years and paid each year. When will yot give something back for long term members.
What's great about it: Grade Income Tax system. A member for over 20 years.
What's not so great: I paid for all the years, I have been a member.

Great Product

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and would not want to use anything else. It is quick and easy to use. Checks to make sure there are no errors. e-filing is great - don't have to wait in line at the post office. Ability to have direct deposit. Keeps you up-to-date on the e-files.
What's great about it: easy, fast, informative, no hassle

Turbo tax works well for my situation which is straight forward with only a house to write off.

Missed a few thing

I really do love TurboTax.
I've been using it for years now.
This year it didn't do the auto update and half way through, I had to save and update due to forms not being available yet.
After I got that done, you have to go through and answer question again....repeating steps that have already been done.

When you want to go back and review something, you shouldn't have to re-answer questions already answered.

It missed my sales tax & tax preparation deduction.
If it wasn't for it showing me last years comparison, I would have missed it.
But, I had to go through a bunch of repeat steps and answer questions again that had already been answered just to get to it.

Great Tool, I love how it imports from previous year. You may want to consider analyzing several years back it the user has used turbo tax. In my case, I have used turbo tax for the past 6+ years...
What's great about it: This year, there were fewer questions to walk through,,,
What's not so great: None
