Awesome and Easy with Turbo Tax!

Turbo Tax is an awesome program that lets you do your taxes quickly, correctly and easily. With Turbo Tax, you simply avoid all of the headaches that come with doing your taxes on your own.
What's great about it: Guiding questions all along the entire process.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

GOT GOOD REFUND

THE PROGRAM IS EXCELLENT USED FOR MANY YEARS. WISH THEY WOULD FIX NOT BEING ABLE TO DO TAXES IN BOTH MARRIED FILING JOINT AND MARRIED FILING SEPARATE . IT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE SOME TIMES. I ALWAYS HAVE TO REENTER ALL THE DATA .WHAT A PAIN JUST TO SEE WHICH WAY BRINGS THE BEST REFUND.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE
What's not so great: DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO SWITCH FILING STATUS WITHOUT ENTERING THE DATA AGAIN

Great program, glad I decided to purchase and use it this year. Made filing my taxes very easy and somewhat enjoyable.
What's great about it: very easy to navigate, friendly, helped me get returns i didn't know i was able to get
What's not so great: none

State Income Tax lacked mailing address

It appears that TurboTax now wants to force you to file electronically for a fee rather than mail in your state tax forms. This is really irritating!!

Easy

I have been trained on simple tax return, but prefer Turbo Tax to doing my own return. Turbo Tax remembers things I won't remember.
What's great about it: goes thru each area throughly.
What's not so great: I have nothing but good thing to say about turbo tax

some ok, not perect.

Poor management of RMD's for those choosing to legally do some prior to April 1 of the year after turning 70 1/2.
Poor management of refund-- no way found even through help, to enter direct deposit details.
Not enough valid options available for describing a charitable non-cash donation.
I always do my main work using a spreadsheet. Use turbotax to double check.
Also way too expensive to add state tax.
What's great about it: basics OK
What's not so great: poor management of some areas

Taxes Made Easy

Turbo tax makes doing taxes so easy and stress free. My only issue this year was having to search around to try to delete a W-2 name from the previous year. I ended up waiting until the program was finished and then saw the option to delete it.
What's great about it: So easy
What's not so great: Couldn't get W-2 names to come back up once passed
