Always Easy

We've been using TurboTax for 20+ years. Its an awesome product and very easy to use. We really like the guide or pick your own topics ourselves feature because if we know what we want to enter, we don't need to review topics of no value for our particular return (especially if things haven't changed much since last year). Having the values we entered last year showing helps as well to see what we claimed for last year as compared to this year. I would always like the cost of TurboTax to be a bit cheaper - for the product and cost of filing state taxes, but overall its an excellent product.
What's great about it: Easy to use, can choose guide or pick topics,
What's not so great: cost of filing state returns

A Turbo Tax Fan

Overall, I am very pleased with Turbo Tax. I've used it for well over ten years now and find it very easy to follow. I'll admit I'm in the "little old lady" category but computers were always "my thing" when I was working so reasonable software is enjoyable. Turbo Tax interview style is kinda fun, even if you know you don't need all those things and aren't filing a long return. Going back to check it over is fairly easy. Just be aware that if you've finished it and jump back, it may have removed some of the answers you've given. I was startled when reviewing my state return to find i wasn't a citizen. I had to go back and check that one again. But overall I LOVE Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: The program carries forward your information from previous years and sets you up for the current one's work.
What's not so great: Well, I'd like a little more information on some items, like civil service retirement.

Longer to dread it than to do it!

Once I've saved the forms that are mailed to me, I just find the numbers on them and type. I dread this every year, but have learned that the hardest part is paying.
What's great about it: Questions asked so I could understand and answer AND it remembered my answers from last year!
What's not so great: Typing in how much tax we've already paid.

WHY CAN I NOT START OVER WITHOUT FILING AN AMENDED FORM WITH THE INFORMATION ENTERED?
What's great about it: TOOK LESS THAN A DAY TO FILE FEDERAL AND STATE
What's not so great: FEE TO FILE STATE FORMS

easy to use but make sure you read the instructions on each page or you might miss something.

I have been doing my returns for about three years now with Turbo Tax and I love it. They make it so easy and take you step by step. Haven't had a problem. Keep up the good work.

What's great about it: It is soooo easy!
