I was very painless process. Nice program.
I have a user tip - if you encounter a problem with the e-file process and it says you need an update and then it still doesn't work - Do not accept the suggestion to mail it in until you do several updates and then LOG OUT of the program. When I logged back in and continue to e-file it worked!
What's great about it: Simple & quick
What's not so great: e-fiing didn't work easily because of needed updates.

A Long Step Backward

I have been using TurboTax since it was introduced and the new print routine and removal of the NM quarterly payment sheets to print for payment is just not acceptable. I can see from the number of questions that everyone is not happy with the change in printing. I, for one, will be looking at other tax preparation packages when it's time for my 2014 taxes. You made a major step backwards in trying to change a really good and easy to use system of printing and selecting what to print with a very awkward and confusing replacement package. You missed the boat. At 81 yrs old I don't need a more complicated printing program when the old one did just fine.
What's great about it: Good data entry and results
What's not so great: Printing is horrible and removal of quarterly estimated tax sheets to print

I have been using for more than ten years and never had any issues with performance. Many improvements without changing the format so you do not recognize it. I would recommend to anyone wanting to keep control of their financial situation.
What's great about it: Fast, thorough & accurate.
What's not so great: Cost is higher than others - need an in between version.

I got frustrated when it wouldn't load on my old desktop, but when we tried the wife's laptop we sailed right through it. It took longer to gather all the info to input than it did to do the Fed and State returns.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow
What's not so great: Not much to dislike

It is actually fun to use this. I always find it stressful to file, but I trust TurboTax to guide me through the process.
