I should not have to input detailed addresses for contributions I made. It's up to me to maintain proper documentation in case of audit.
I don't see why TurboTax doesn't take all of my joint return information and automatically split it to show outcome if we filed separately for federal and state. It happens that we usually have to file separately due to the way the state of Ohio tax tables and joint filing credit penalize two income families. So I have to re-inter a lot of data and answer a lot of questions all over again to compare the filing status I should use. Probably will go back to doing my own returns next year.

I have been using Turbo Tax since it was introduced and as a CPA have never found anything better.

No Headaches Using Turbo tax

Used Turbo Tax for many years, and the Interview process, along with the option to be able to work on any section or form, is excellent.
What's great about it: Forms calculate out everything

As mentioned, been using this software for almost 2 decades. It's only gotten easier. I especially like how it can draw from other software by the same parent company, and the ease of determining the value of donated goods is simply amazing.
What's great about it: fast, accurate, easy to use
What's not so great: Never clear if TurboTax Advantage carries from year to year.

turbo tax

i stopped for the day and when i tried to continue, i could not find the return i had partially done. instead of showing the continue screen, i kept getting the page to begin a new return.
