Turbo Tax Deluxe ( Fast & Easy )

This is my 3rd. year using Turbo Tax Deluxe . With it's easy to follow instructions, it only takes a couple of hours from start to finish. I had one question concerning the W2 form which did not apply to my situation. With one call and a simple explanation my problem was resolved. I've saved hundreds of dollars using Turbo Tax and will do so again next year.

TurboTax - Painless Taxes!

TurboTax is a great product. I've been in tax for nearly 25 years, and I have, and do, use a wide variety of products. For an off the shelf, DIY prep system, TurboTax is the best I've used. The functionality to move to/from Forms view and input is top-notch.
I've use competitor's products for my personal returns in the past - notably KC's home-town DIY product - and it's not a fair fight; TurboTax cleans up.
What's great about it: Intuitive and easy to use. The ability to switch to/from "Forms View" and input is a huge benefit.
What's not so great: Using the guided interview is a little slow, but it is not a deal-breaker.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great program

Turbo tax is the best soft ware for doing your taxes, I have tried others and they were no competition in my opinion. I would recommend turbo tax over paying someone else to do your taxes because their main concern is how many they can get done (profit). Turbo tax get you the max refund.
What's great about it: simple and easy to use, saves time and money

2013 Turbo Tax Review

Easy to use and navigate. Not as easy to go back and make a correction. Some of the actions are not as intuitive as they could be. Overall, I'd recommend it to my friends, it is a whole lot easier than filling out the IRS forms by hand.
What's great about it: Works great once it's updated.
What's not so great: Did not work the first time, until it was updated.

State Return Problem

If you e-file the federal return and then wish to file the state return via regular mail, your system breaks down. I had a fight on my hands to accomplish filing the state return. There should be something on the filing window besides e-file now or later. There are those of us who do not wish to e-file the state return!
What's great about it: Fed portion of program OK.
What's not so great: Difficult to file state return via mail
