Using TurboTax to submit my returns has always been easy. I especially appreciate the fact that it takes all of the worry out about making sure I have all of the information needed to make my returns complete. I had to go back to a couple of items because my documentation was late in coming in, so flagging those items was especially helpful.
What's great about it: Easy-to-follow instructions - especially helpful to flag late documentation

Yearly grind

We have been using Turbo tax since 2006. in fact we recommend it to several of our friends. This year a co-worker took advantage of using Turbo tax and he was excited on how easy it was to use.
We will now help our son with his taxes using turbo tax.
What's great about it: Very easy to go through step by step! :)
What's not so great: The college portion was very hard to manage (slightly confusing) :(

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. I love it, it just keeps getting better and better,. I asks the appropriate questions and walks me step by step.
What's great about it: easy, asks the appropriate questions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have use TurboTax every year since the second year TT was in business. It have found it to be easy to use and with the context sensitive guidance it takes most of the drudgery out of preparing the tax return. Needs better definition bvetween self employed business expenses and employment expenses. Program lets you enter the same expenses in both which is not always correct.
What's great about it: Easy to use,
What's not so great: Hard to integrate TurboTax with Quicken. Needs better instructions. The online help is not very good.

Head of Household

I came completed the dependents section as the last step of doing my return. Turbotax's federal review did not ask whether I pay more than 50% of household expenses and whether I should file as head of household instead of single. I went back into that section manually and found that question highlighted in red. The automatic review should have caught this. If I had thought to go back in and look for it this could have cost me thousands of dollars.
What's great about it: The sections are generally well organized
What's not so great: Automatic review did not catch head of household benefit

Refund for us, oh boy!

I have used this software for the last three years. I truely like it. The only thing that puzzled me is why it prompted me to download my wife's w2 and it did not promp me to download mine. I thought this was odd as they both came from ADP.
What's great about it: It is nice to be able to do our taxes ourselves.
What's not so great: The tax code is too complicated, but that is not TURBO Taxes fault.

Excelelnt program

I have used this program and filed on line for a least 12 years. It is accurate, fast, and relatively simple compared to filling out the forms by hand. I recommend it to all my friends.
What's great about it: It's fast, it's accurate, and I get my money quickly.
What's not so great: This time it the updates were a little convoluted.

difficulty time e-filing

Frustrating, would not validate. program did not indicate why. After much looking found a recommendation to reboot and this helped. seems to be working now.
