all in all was good program, not great. next year I will have even more things going on. I hope this program finds the deductions I have coming for me. all of them!
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: was not prompted to big deduction i was entitled too. found on my own
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2014 taxes

multi year user....like the software, "it's deductible", ability to import info from last year
What's great about it: easy to use, upload last years return
What's not so great: would be nice to access only required forms, not have to look at every one

About as easy as it gets!

For years we have had our taxes done by professionals. I saw the commercials this year, and was impressed by them. I started asking around to people I know that use this program and decided to try it. I feel it is very easy to get through and will use this from now on. We are getting closer to retirement and don't have all the things going on in our lives that we used to, but I think I should have tried this sooner!
What's great about it: This program is vey easy and easy to get back to and find the different areas if you need to go back in to enter data.
What's not so great: Explanations could be a little more for regular people. Too technical/but could also have easier explanations included.

filing would not validate and would not tell why

Frustrating...
after completing return the electronic filing would not validate and would not file taxes. Worst of all is the program did not tell me why. And this was after turbo tax had accepted my state filing fee. Had to file manually. could not find any way to contact turbo tax. transmitted questions but no answer. Not sure how to get my filing fee back or my original program fee.

If anyone else uses this, better hope everything goes well because no support is available when you file.

So Eaaaaaasy!

No more locking myself in the office for the better part of a weekend! Now I'm done in little more than an hour total for both federal and state! And, it does all of the math for me and I don't have to keep entering the same information in multiple places - TurboTax does it for me!
What's great about it: downloading W2s; does the math; remembers last year

TurboTax Bug is only slightly annoying

When I try to e-file, TurboTax tells me that it must fetch updates before I can e-file; however, updating TurboTax doesn't fix this. I tried updating and re-updating about 8 times before I gave up.
What's great about it: Filed my return in under 3 hours
What's not so great: TurboTax bug forced me to file by mail.
