Too many problems with Turbo Tax this year!

Very disappointed in Turbo Tax this year. Every time I went back to use it, I had to download a new update. Then, I couldn't file electronically, because I supposedly needed another update! I updated again, and still couldn't e-file.
What's great about it: Easy to walk through and make sure you looked at everything
What's not so great: Constant updates, couldn't e-file.

Dependable program

I've been using TurboTax Premium and before that MacInTax for probably a decade. Each year the program gets easier to do. Even with some complications such as capital gains and the dreaded AMT, the program is still simple to use.
One major improvement I've seen over the years is in importing information from financial institutions. The hardest thing about it now is remembering your passwords.
Overall, highly recommended program for medium difficulty tax returns.
Only negative I have is paying to file my state tax return. Why, why, why? Except that it makes company more money.
What's great about it: As easy to use as possible with US tax code
What's not so great: Sometimes get lost in forms

Install---could not access from icon after install

I've use TurboTax for several years and feel it is very adequate---this is the first year I've had a problem accessing the program after initial install and having to reinstall
What's great about it: seemed to ask every possible question and cover all issues
What's not so great: could not access icon after install--had to reinstall

Disappointing

Every time I closed out, when I returned later it would start back at the beginning! I've used Turbo Tax for many, many years and this year's version is extremely difficult to navigate around...very disappointing.. will shop for a different brand next year.
What's great about it: had last year's info to go by
What's not so great: ability to continue where you left off completely nill!!

Tax filing has never been easier. Can not understand why people pay large sums of money to "professional" tax preparers when TurboTax makes is so easy.
