Easy experience

An example of a section that did not offer a yes or no answer was the credit for new jobs related to employers.
What's great about it: All sections were very well explained and easy to access.
What's not so great: A few sections that only asked for numbers and didn't give you the option to decline entering info were a bit confusing

Easy to use

Taxes are very low on my fun to do list, but TurboTax makes it do-able in a reasonable amount of time, and they also have the checks and verifications built in to help give you peace of mind.
What's great about it: Detailed, step by step instructions.
What's not so great: Still have to do taxes.

Best tax software

Have used TurboTax for more than ten years. Getting better every year. Insures that all income/deductions are covered. Allows multiple returns for several family members.
What's great about it: Very easy to understand and use.
What's not so great: Print for filing instructions not clear. Do not understand why high cost for state e-filing.

I've been using TurboTax for over 10 years and its never let me down. It accurately walks you through all the sections to ensure you don't miss or skip anything.

I have always done my own taxes and have used Turbo tax before, but this years version was vey smooth and easy. I will be moving this year to NJ from CA and will be using Turbo Tax to help me file next year, as I will be looking for as many deductions as possible.
What's great about it: covering all posible deductions

Made it a Breeze to Compete Fed & State Returns!

Turbo Tax walks you through every aspect of tax preparation with easy to understand instructions.
January 1 each year I open a tax file and drop all my receipts and documents needed at tax time into it. When our W-2s arrive, I arrange everything in Walk-Through order to speed the walk-through process.
Turbo Tax let's me determine my time table at tax preparation time in the privacy of home.
We have been satisfied Turbo Tax customers for well over 15 years. We have never had any problems.
What's great about it: Step-by-Step guidance throughout
What's not so great: Would like a "skip this section" button in Wages & Taxes areas that don't apply

Even better this year

I appreciated being able to see how entry selections would change the payment due or refund amounts, for example, Roth vs Traditional IRA contributions.
What's great about it: Updated for recent IRS processes
What's not so great: Wouldn't accept a valid today's date entry
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
