Turbo Tax 2013

I am a loyal Turbo Tax user, have been using it for so many years I can't even remember. It's always easy to install and use and it's always accurate. I don't mind paying every year for the software, I know it takes a lot of effort to keep up with the tax law changes but, I am very upset about paying so much (actually anything at all) for the State EFile. I know my state does not charge extra for EFile. I think 1 Federal and 1 State EFile should be included with the software package.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Accurate
What's not so great: Pay for State EFile

Used to complete the federal taxes and two states as I moved during the year. Data was easy to enter as the program prompted you along the way on what to enter. Another program used last year prompted a review of the federal tax return prior to going to the state returns. I liked this feature so that you could review the data entered and to see if there was anything that looked unusual or needing correction. As it turned out during the final review, I did forget to enter something on the federal form which then I felt I needed to look for the same adjustments in the state forms, which I was happy to see adjusted automatically. As I had to divide some interest and dividend earnings between state incomes, I thought the adjustment section could have been better explained, and the definitions of the adjustment categories defined, particularly "nominee adjustment" was not on your search, so I did not know what it meant. For this I also went to your Q&A website, and found there were some questions that were submitted that had not been answered for over 15 days. That didn't seem very responsive to me and seemed you were waiting for taxpayers to answer other taxpayers questions, which could be a formula for disaster. Review at the end and efiling was easy. Particularly liked the creation of a pdf file, so paper did not have to be wasted. Will likely use your product next year.
What's great about it: Data was easy to enter. Walked through step by step by the program
What's not so great: After entering the federal data, automatic review of federal would have been better. terms for choices should be defined
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

I've been using Turbo Tax for a lot of years. It's great that info from the previous year's return is imported. Being able to import W2s and investment income could not be easier. Overall, it's a great product.
What's great about it: Just plain easy tax preparation
What's not so great: None

Tax Program Audit

I may have done something wrong, but:
1) the software did not either automatically or ask me if I wanted to update before opening / starting my first tax return. About half way through it dawned on me that an update had not been performed, I manually selected the "Check for updates", the program flawlessly performed this operation (took about 10 minutes)... but that told me this was not done prior to starting my tax return.
2) after closing down the program (to take a break), when I came back and selected to continue my return, the software did not return me to the point that I left off... strange. On the plus side, no information was lost [I did save before exiting.]
What's great about it: walks you through everything with easy to understand explanations
What's not so great: no auto update before start and did not re-start where I left off

I have tried to print the second page of my taxes and no matter what I do it will not print. Would appreciate any help. As I need to mail it off by April 15.
What's not so great: I am unable to print the second page of all the taxes I have worked on. I have mine and my sons and my Fathers.
