Simple and accurate

I have used TurboTax for several years. I decided to look at some of the competitors to see what they were offering. There is nothing available that performs better than TurboTax. I found some that were less expensive. When I looked at their track record for complaints, there were a LOT of complaints. TurboTax was surprisingly absent in the complaints. This is just a confirmation of you get what you pay for. TurboTax is still the best out there. When you factor in your time, it is probably the cheapest. Just answer some questions and voila! Instant tax return with all of the accompanying forms. Don't waste your time and $. Just get the easiest and most accurate tax program available.
What's great about it: Ease of use, understandability and accuracy.
What's not so great: I waited longer than expected for form updates

Blood Circulating Refund!

I've been using Turbo Tax for the past 4 years and each year it seems the program gets easier and easier. Keep up the good work and continue to give me my "BIG" refunds, thanks!
What's great about it: Fast & Easy
What's not so great: can't think of anything!

As Easy as it Gets

This tool guides you through the myriad of tax issues for the current year to determine your tax liability or refund amount. It is easy to use and allows you to stop at any time and return to the place where you stopped. I have used it for the last five years and have a real appreciation for it.
What's great about it: Challenges you on all issues.

Clear and easy

The process was presented clear and in easy laymans terms. The transferring of information from last years return saves a ton of time. I would have never have come up with all of those possible deductions myself. I have a regular( W-2) job and a small side business and TurboTax takes the complexities right out of filing. Fifth year using TurboTax and I wouldn't do my taxes without it.
PS: the free e-filing makes filing a snap.
What's great about it: simple e-filing, transferring last years info is great.
What's not so great: Doesn't come with a cup of coffee (with cream and sugar).

Ease of use, simple layout. Designed so that you know what to do, even after not having touched the s/w for a year! Turbo Tax could give lessons to other s/w developers on how to be user friendly - TT combines the art with the science of filing your taxes.
What's great about it: well thought out, lots of automatic features
What's not so great: no issues

Mostly Easy but....

As a trustee I could nominee dividends and interest with the Deluxe version but a stock sale did not offer this same option and even the ability to reverse it out using a negative number was blocked by the software. This made this process very frustrating. Please find a way to allow a nominee reversal for stock sales going forward. That would make this software very useful.
