Great Tool!

This is a great program! The tax code is extremely complicated. Turbo tax walks you through the tax reporting process so that nothing is missed. When completed, it generated all encessary forms....even some I did not think I needed! I have used Turbo Tax for many years and it has saved me money. Without it I would need to pay a professional preparer.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None

I am very satisfied that I have properly completed my tax forms.
I like being questioned about all the income and deductions that are reviewed.
Instructions for filling out the forms are easy to understand and are explained.

What's great about it: ALL THE TAXABLE SUBJECTS THAT ARE COVERED
What's not so great: Information populates wrong some times and doing the state return is very confusing

Some good and some bad

This is the 6th year in a row that I have used Turbo Tax, so obviously I am a believer. The first year may be the most difficult, but each following year is a breeze.
This year I did experience two problems. It would not import my W-2 as it has in the past, so I had to import information manually. I also had to manually type information from my 1099-div(s) into the State return. Account numbers, Names and some of the financials... All of this was clearly on the federal and remembered from previous years.
What's great about it: I love that it remembers and imports data from previous returns. Easy to use
What's not so great: This year, it did NOT import my W-2 or import several 1099-div files from Federal to State return

So Easy

I thought it would be a nightmare helping my mother with her taxes. Thanks to TurboTax, it couldn't have been easier. Thanks, TurboTax for saving my sanity!!

Difficult to e-file

the software was great for preparing my taxes. However, when it came time to efile, things went bad. The software repeatedly told me that it could not transmit my file because updates still needed to be applied. I downloaded the updates and each time I received the same result. Eventually I had to delete the application and re-install to finally get it to work... the efile process took as long as filling out the forms!!!
What's great about it: easy to prepare the taxes
What's not so great: e-file failed multiple times
