Turbo updates

In order to process my tax return it was requested to download updates on a new turbo tax software. Plus it would not work on the first 3 tries. I had to continue to exit turbo tax and hope eventually it would update. This is frustrating not knowing if it would work or not and time consuming.

2013 Tax Return

[3/30/14] I have used TurboTax for years and stand by it. I just wish from a data input flow perspective that they would put all the IRA activities in one spot. Current approach feels fragmented. I understand their logic; however, this year I did a conversion (IRA to Roth) and I initially felt lost but figured it out. It was difficult to go back and check my work to make sure that I didn't miss something.
What's great about it: Organized & thought provoking to make sure you don't miss anything.
What's not so great: IRA data input for distribution (income) vs. conversions is confusing

Good interface, please don't change it

Very happy with the software, my only concern is the user interface getting a major overhaul because someone thinks it needs a "fresher look". This has been done to Quicken too many times. It forces the millions of your customers to the bottom of the learning curve. So please do not go down that path. It is the reason I only update Quicken when I absolutely have to (Adobe is guilty of the same practice), I care very little about a couple of new features if I have to spend a hundred hours re-learning the app. Thanks for listening.
What's great about it: Easy to jump back and forth between Interview and Form view

Turbo Tax continues to improve itself each year, making the whole experience better for me. I can start and finish in one sitting - a real bonus!
