7 YEARS AND COUNTING

After 7 years of utilizing Turbo Tax for my returns I would not go back to any other method. I am by no means a complicated return, but I do have questions and doubts about deductions, credits and tax law adjustments from year to year. Turbo Tax gives me the resources and confidence to manage my returns in short order. It helps me organize and recall information with minimal effort to make this process less of a chore.
What's great about it: I am in one of those multi state filling situations. Turbo tax has made this process a breeze to navigate and complete.

So Easy! Especially with multiple investments~

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. I love how it transfers data from year to year and with multiple investments, I like how it seamlessly transfers data from the brokerage houses to my tax forms. Requires little skill and it makes for very easy filing

I used to balk at using TurboTax, thinking I could save the cost of buying it. I think that's doubtful, now --I'm sure I missed a lot things that would have produced bigger refunds/smaller payments. Plus, since using TurboTax, I haven't gotten any more letters from the IRS or Montana DOR showing me where I should have maybe been a little more careful doing my return. (Nobody likes those letters...!)

What's great about it: Easy, complete, dependable
What's not so great: None really, except the last minute corrections at filing...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Using for MANY years, still pretty good...

Deluxe for 2013 BIG NEGATIVE CHANGE was generally dropping entire investment "Capital Gains and Losses" section of income. I had to FORCE this information into the Deluxe version. Should not have to "upgrade" for this basic feature!
As usual, the software is very "buggy" until about mid-March when all the users find the bugs and send them into Intuit.
Intuit is usually pretty quick to repair major bugs in Fed stuff, slower on States.
To be safe, be sure to update your software late March before filing your taxes. I never file before the end of March, or early April to be sure most bugs are fixed and late form changes by our governments are all in.....

Great program gets even better

Just a minor comment... when updating the program it always says it will restart, but it never does. You have to restart it yourself. I have been using TT for about 20 years now; since the days when Windows barely functioned itself. This just keeps getting better every year.
What's great about it: TT continues to improve every year
What's not so great: Needs online access to smaller financial institutions

Great Product

TT is great. This is the 5th year of using. Had to file 7 different state returns and a Federal. All were done in very little time and effort. The two times that I had to contact customer service on a problem that I was having to reps were outstanding
