easy to use

Was generally a easy process. have used for ten years, This year's product has issues. Didn't transfer well and didn't ask all questions, had to go back into forms and add details. At end got into loop and had to close to get out. Kept closing and opening to have the program find additional errors. Not as confident in product as previously. Did taxes by hand to verify there was not any other issues, extra time!
What's great about it: transfer of data
What's not so great: this year product kept going into loop

We have been paying for tax services for years. For 2013 we said lets do it and we bought our Turbo Tax and it was a easy and painless experience. Recommendation be patient have all your tax information in front of you and check it more than twice before you submit...
What's great about it: walks you through every detail
What's not so great: Nothing unless they skipped something

I've used Turbo Tax for YEARS. 2008 I bought a MAC PC. it has not been the same, especially the last two years. I may look for other vendors next year. Just too frustrating.
What's great about it: fast, easy when works
What's not so great: doesn't seem to work well with MAC

good job

I know "legalease" is unfriendly, wish turbo tax could rewrite some of the terminology so it is easier to understand. Other than that this was a very good program. I was led through process and either questioned about a particular expense or I searched and got the location of a particular expense.
Well done!
BTW this was the first time I have personally prepared a tax return in 25 years.
What's great about it: asked about everything
What's not so great: Had to search for some things, i guess the question that would have directed me to the location was unclear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Easy Math!

Turbo Tax has cut my preparation and filing time by days. All I do is gather my info and input, it does the rest. No more going over and over the return before I file. This has encouraged me to keep up on my records throughout the year to be sure it's a snap next filing year!
What's great about it: Automatic calculations and info. fill are awsome
What's not so great: none

One State is Supposed to be Free....It is NOT. Wh

Every year the box says "one free state filing" and every year the system makes me pay with a credit card, or mail it in.
One efile should be for both Federal AND STATE.
I am looking for a new software next year, and I am a long time user of Quicken.
What's great about it: Copy lastt years data
What's not so great: You SHOULD NOT be Charging for State Filling!!!!
