2012 was easier!!!!!

My 2012 Turbo Tax importation of dividends and interest was very easy. In 2013 you had to import to only the mentioned sites, not good-will maybe look elsewhere next year!!!
What's great about it: Concise and to the point
What's not so great: Importation of interest and dividends not able to do!!---Bad, Bad!!!

EZ way to refund

The return should download all revised forms BEFORE you start the return rather than having to go back and review after the download. Other than that and the high cost of a second state return Turbo Tax is the way to go.
What's great about it: Step by step explanations of all catagories
What's not so great: Extra charge for CA state return efile.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Wouldn't do my taxes any other way

We have been using TurboTax for many years. We don't avoid doing our taxes because we know it's going to be fairly painless.
What's great about it: Responding to the questions is EASY
What's not so great: Doesn't inform you of the charge for e-filing with the State until the very end.

I like the capability to upload from key companies...avoids entering all my investment info manually. I like being stepped through all line items and the assistance with deductions, especially things like how to handle certain deductions vs. expenses.
What's great about it: ease of entering info - especially upload from key companies; like being stepped through all possible line items
What's not so great: when exiting a certain section of info, the display jumps back to the top vs. the section i was just entering

Being in another country, it was really difficult for me to get all the paperwork together, but TurboTax really helped me get everything together quickly and efficiently! Fantastic experience from the other side of the world!
What's great about it: easy, fast, and convenient!
