Just too easy

TurboTax provides me with a confident way to complete returns for my whole family and address rental income, school expenses, investment income, all is a way that makes far more sense then trying to read a IRS document.
What's great about it: Menu driven Q&A style easy to complete
What's not so great: The tax law is still confusing even with TurboTax to help
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Pretty good...

All in all, it's a very good program. It infuriates me that US tax code is such a mess that programs like this are necessary, but that's the reality. My only problems were with program updates. First when I reopened the program for the first time after starting work on my taxes, there was a program update. I chose to download it. After the download was completed and I resumed working on my returns, it had lost all my W-2 information. I had to re-enter that. Lastly, when I opened the program for the last time before filing, it wanted to download updates. I chose to do so, and did, then resumed work on my return. When I went to e-file, it failed repeatedly telling me I needed to download updates. I re-downloaded them twice and still could not file. Finally I shut the program down, re-opened it, and then was able to file.
What's great about it: Guides you through and helps navigate the disaster that is US tax code
What's not so great: Couple bugs… after program update I had to start over entering information

Turbo Tax 2013

Had issues with the selection process for how I wanted the state refund sent to me, as Louisiana has this credit card process now and banks won't accept it as a deposit and wanted a direct deposit, took awhile to get to that choice.
What's great about it: like the question format of filling in information
What's not so great: seemed harder to go back to previously entered info

Amazing software! Easy to use!

This software is so easy to use! I just started by entering personal information and my W-2's. Continued with education and other possible credits. Got to the filing screen, but IRS website threw an internal error. I would have liked to e-file, but now I have to send it in by mail. Oh well. Still love the software. Thanks TurboTax!
What's great about it: Ease of use, Walks through deductions and credits
What's not so great: E-File didn't work, but wasn't TurboTax's fault

What's not so great: Complication with purchased software - it was resolved, but it would have been better if explanation were provided.

Efile Glitch

I have used TT for several years, this year when I tried to efile 3 separate returns the efile failed! I updated TT and it still failed until I shut the computer down, emptied the trash and and on the 4th or 5th try I was finally able to efile. Otherwise I really like the program, hope you get one for a form 990.

I love TurboTax. It makes my life very simple when it comes to filing taxes. I love Federal and State Efiling. It is super and it has always helped me get the best experience with filling in and filing. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!! Thanks !
What's great about it: Very Comprehensive, Very Easy, Very Good User Experience, Excellent experience overall !
What's not so great: Small bugs during College Education Entries. Not a show stopper. A bit of clarify on how thorough the deduction checks !

Quick and painless

I like using Turbo Tax to do my refund each year. I love that it imports information from previous years so I have less typing an therefore, less opportunity for errors! It was quick and easy to use. I use it for multiple returns for my family.
What's great about it: Walked me through all stages of return.
