All good. Have used it successfully 4 years plus. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: It's easy to navigate

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and I have had excellent through experience, with peace of mind.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: The explanations (more info) are sometimes difficult to understand.

Overall I don't know how I have managed in years prior without the aid of using Turbo Tax. I have always DREADED the whole IRS experience. Turbo Tax took a lot of the fear factor and dread out of the process. My only negative was encountered this year when filling out the part year residence forms in two states. It would have been easier if the program calculated wages earned in each state based on length of time we resided in each.

Quick and Easy Step by Step

I really like the systematic way Turbo Tax walked me through the income and deduction portion of my federal and state income tax return. It made it simple. I also liked the ease of downloading the W-2 information from my employer and the investment downloads from my financial institution.
What's great about it: Walking my way through Income and deductions and direct download of W-2 and investment info.
What's not so great: I can't think of anything

It's taken me five and a half hours but it was worth it. Learned about new things and things forgotten. I feel confident all items concerning my return have been covered with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Like the questions instead of forms and very thorough.
What's not so great: Better explanations for RMD's. Please make that part more friendly and understandable.

things went along smoothly until i got to the state part. i needed a form 500cr to claim a credit for an electric vehicle charging station. according to the state of maryland website, the return needs to be filed electronically to claim the credit, and the 500cr form is not supported by turbo tax. from what i could discern from the help section, this was a problem last year also. not happy about now having to try to figure out how to file with the state to get the credit.
What's great about it: easy for federal
What's not so great: missing state of maryland form
