I hate tax time but...

I can't imagine trying to do this without Turbotax.
What's great about it: Turbotax makes it easy.
What's not so great: I have to do it no matter what.

With rental income and depreciation I wasn't sure I wanted to do my own taxes but the walk thru instructions were great. However during the review some info was changed which then forced me to go back and re-enter amounts. Also could not e-file until after restarting my computer.
What's great about it: walk thru instructions easy to follow w/ good helps
What's not so great: review process changed some earlier info that I didn't want changed

Gets easier every year

Third year I've been using TurboTax, and it's becoming much less of a chore for the still relatively new US resident I am. I could still wish for less cryptic questions popping up, but since my income and deduction structure is fairly constant from one year to the next, it goes fast and I'm not too worried any longer of missing something.
What's great about it: Well structured and systematic
What's not so great: Still a bit cryptic for the unitiated

Instead of downloading I bought the disc. Next time I will download. Should give better access to past returns.

Printing

I have used TurboTax for many years and have always liked the product. However this year printing is a real pain. I don't know why you changed it this year, but I sure hope you go back to the old way.
What's great about it: Overall pretty slick and liked

Good, but could be better

We've used TT for several years. Tried other products and like TT better. However, navigation is a little cumbersome, having to scroll down long pages, and it takes forever to load and update.
What's great about it: Covers all the bases
What's not so great: Slow to load and update; navigation is not easy

Great. But we have a motorhome that interest can be deducted on & that section (home mortgage) was not specific enough for that deduction, I thought. It made it look like we have 2 homes so I hope we did it right.
