Almost missed my state tax deduction

I almost missed a deduction for state income taxes paid last year for 2012 because TurboTax did not specifically step me through that question. Instead it gave me a list of things to choose from and a start button to go there. Glad my wife asked the question.
What's great about it: Makes it easy and quick to complete the forms and file taxes
What's not so great: Doesn't always step you through every question

Eventually works, but stressful

The program allows me to do my taxes in one day, so at the end it works. However, sometimes I get very angry. The program assumes that for every income item I am getting a corresponding form. But this is not true if the money come from abroad. And if there is no form, then the problems start. In particular, if one gets retirement pension from a foreign country, how to report it? Where?
What's great about it: Allows me to file taxes in one day
What's not so great: Does not fit to the situation when there is a foreign income

Turbo Tax 2013 Review

I have been using Turbo tax for over 10 plus years and it maximized my refund and look for every possible area where I can save taxes or potential risk for audit. Good and reliable tool.
What's great about it: easy to use & a trustworth tool
What's not so great: lots of steps

Ever since my father introduced me to Turbo Tax, years ago, I have been hooked. It has always been easy to follow and the greatest feature is importing data from the previous year.

Turbo Tax failure

I have used Turbo Tax for over a decade. Generally, it is a solid program and fairly easy to use. Sometimes, however, it just won't work the way it supposed to. This year i did all the updates as required, and it said that the updates were current, but when I tried to e-file it failed to transmit. I kept getting a message that updates were available, so I did the updates, and it said everything was ok, but it still wouldn't transmit. I kept getting the message that updates were needed. It's so frustrating that you pay for a program that fails to perform the main purpose for which it was intended.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Not consistent, failed to e-file.

Missing Form 2210

Some required forms do not show up on the index at the right of the main screen... Such as Form 2210.
