great time saver to have a lot of items already filled in & just supply new amounts
What's great about it: good focus on required steps; automatic fill-in's from prior years
What's not so great: help is a little awkward in finding specific topic

TT generally does the job and with tax laws constantly changing I am sure it is hard to update. There always seem to be confusing elements.

The only reasomn I would use this softwware is to avoid entering allt the stock transactions - it has gotten progressively worse with each year - especially estimated payments - don't show up until too late
What's great about it: Less typing
What's not so great: Poor visability - lousy navigation

Straight forward peace of mind. You can't knock that.
What's great about it: Step by step explainations with special explainations.
What's not so great: It isn't free, but beats a tax lawyer.

A easily correctible miss

I waited a week waiting for an email to tell me sales tax deduction in Schedule A was available. Email never came but a friend told me how to get updates on line. Different from last year.
What's great about it: easy to use; knows and pulls from prior returns as needed
What's not so great: changed way updates came

I've been using it for a few years now and I can't be any happier with Turbo Tax. Gets better and better every year
Nobody want's to deal with taxes, but we have to.... with Turbo Tax, I can get it done easy!
