I have been using TurboTax for many (at least 10) years. I have never been audited despite some relatively complex tax years. It is an excellent product. I especially appreciate not having to load personal information and comparisons to previous years.
What's great about it: Excellent Foramt, Advice, and Error Corrections

2013 Tax

This year, just as last year, the software brings forward something called 1040EZ interest from the federal to the state return. This is an error. It causes my state interest income to be doubled. So, I have to go in and manually correct the state return.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: There is an error every year in the state software.

I'VE NEVER FILED TAXES SOLO BEFORE AND THIS REALLY MADE IT EASY. VERY DETAILED AND ORGANIZED.
What's great about it: WELL ORGANIZED, DETAILED
What's not so great: NONE FOR MY USE

The back button was annoying in that instead of going back to the previous screen, it sometimes went back to the start of the section.
What's great about it: Easy to use, thorough

The Error Review process is hard to navigate, if it's unhappy, and caused tens of erroneous, empty spin-off worksheets, which were time consuming to remove (took a customer support call), one-by-one!
What's great about it: Easy to switch between EasyStep and Forms
What's not so great: Difficult to remove multiple erroneous spin-off worksheets

Program works great. When you read the fine print on the state return it is just filing out forms that is free. To get your copy filed, you have to pay more money.
What's great about it: Covers everything
What's not so great: State return is not really free.
