it is easy to work with Turbo Tax, they make it pretty clear what you need if you read it.
What's great about it: easy ro work with
What's not so great: somtimes i had to read twice

A Little Nervous

TT never gave me an answer when I asked it to maximize my contribution to my wife's 401K. I sent a question in on the help line, but after a long time of reading many answers, never found one. I also sent a question into TT, but did not receive an answer. Oddly my refund was larger if I removed the check mark about maximizing, than if I left it there.
What's great about it: The format of asking questions.
What's not so great: Summaries not showing correct amounts, Income/Tax exempt dividends

Great! Except Filing

Up to the filing everything was excellent.
2 Concerns:
1. E-Filing was not available. The program kept saying to update the software, and if that didn't work, then send it by the post.
2. Printing was not straight forward. When you printed one way, it printed all the Federal Documents, 1040, all the Schedules, etc. If you printed to mail it in, it did not include the "schedules," etc. I'm still not certain that I have all the State documents for my files.

I work in the software industry and I've heard the phrase "It's as easy as using Turbo Tax" used by companies that wished their product was that good and that easy. Few are.

Nice product-used several years now

It is pretty straightforward and easy to use. This is the sixth or seventh year I have used Turbo Tax. Previously I used an accountant, but when I went and tried the same return with Turbo Tax, I generated $200 more in deductions.
What's great about it: Ease of understanding
What's not so great: trouble updating on my PC

Just keeps getting better

Turbo Tax has done a great job of continuing to improve their product each year. I can remember it use to take much longer back in the beginning days. I really don't see how anyone could have difficulty in using this program. Everything is very easily displayed in a question and answer format. Transfer from previous years is done automatically. Other than getting Turbo Tax to pay my tax due I am not sure what else I could ask for..
What's great about it: The installation, data input, printing, and efiling has been made so easy i can't see why anyone would have problems.
What's not so great: No problems so long as it don't get to pricey.

Printing is a hassel

I have used TurboTax for years and find the 2013 edition unfriendly to users. I used to be able to print to review at any stage of preparation and now in order to this you need to be almost done with the return.
What's not so great: I liked the previous versions of TurboTax
