Nice Refunds

Program ran well and has enabled planning for the next two years as well.
First time I used the state capability and it really saves a lot of time + refund which we have not seen in a long time.
What's great about it: Nice Refund - State Refund totally unexpected
What's not so great: State E-File way too expensive!

Sales Tax?

Easy and great explanations as you proceed!

I've used Turbo Tax for about 9 years. It has simplified the filing process and made it less "painful." I like that you can take as much time as you need to review , go back and clarify any chance of misunderstanding. The explanations are extraordinarily helpful and provide "peace of mind."
What's great about it: Thorough, clear, quick, clarifies any confusion, instills confidence

Faster than expected

Went through step by step and thought I had covered everything. Not sure how I missed entering quarterly payments. Had to go back and find where to enter them. Other than that, TurboTax made it easy to do it myself. I love that it picks up items from last year and moves federal entries to the state taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions

Quicken 2013

Have used Turbo Tax for years and have always found it easy to get through. However, this year (unless I missed something) I could not print the estimated tax payments coupons all at one time. I had to launch and individually print each coupon one at a time. A real bother!
What's great about it: easy walk through
What's not so great: printing forms
Pros: I bought or sold investments

State taxes

I should not say you only get to file one state. I should be able to file as many state as I want I must pay to file efile. It should be easier to pull up state forms for the second family member.

What's not so great: I is not easy to get the state forms for other member in household
