I really love Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years now, and would never switch. I just wish the charges to efile state were not so high
What's great about it: the extra help if you have questions
What's not so great: some times wording is a little confusing

Mostly Good Experience

What kept this from being a 5-star review was that when I tried to e-file my return, I was told I would need an update. I got the update, to be told I still could not e-file, because I needed the update. After two more tries, I finally gave up and mailed the federal return. Otherwise, it was an excellent, fairly painless way to do my taxes.
What's great about it: Ease of uploading prior year's info
What's not so great: Inablility to e-file my federal return

Make it easier to review return when picking up again. Status bar? Make "saving" a more 'positive' function.
What's great about it: Ease of use, logical.
What's not so great: Status when stopping mid-return.

Great tax prep software

Very easy to use, with or without any tax knowledge; ability to download payroll and banking/investment data make prep time easier; helps find deductions through easy to understand questionaire
What's great about it: User friendly
What's not so great: Can't pay for state software from federal return
