Total ease, total peace of mind

Have to say that each year I procrastinate about filing, but then once I start with TurboTax I'm relieved and find it easier than expected and wonder why I waited.
What's great about it: Explanations are handy when needed
What's not so great: Sometimes form numbers don't always correspond to paperwork received.

Even I could do it!

The logical progression of steps are easy to follow and, at least in my case with non-simple situations, didn't miss anything. The one place I thought it had gotten something wrong turned out that I had misunderstood the government's regulation. TurboTax had it right.
TurboTax at least makes the unpleasant task of paying taxes far less stressful.
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step pace still complete and accurate
What's not so great: No free e-file with state
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbotax said I needed to submit a statement of payment for Long Term Health Insurance payments. However I received my refund before I could get the Statement from Genworth.
What's not so great: Indicated I needed to submit an extra form

While it is depressing how much time it takes to click No to all that would not apply to me, it was nice not to have to put up with negative advice like you should have done this or that.
What's great about it: No critque for not meeting expectations.
What's not so great: No calculator showing how many W-4 exemtions equal much withdrawn.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Stepping through the process

Appears to have went very easy. I had one financial institution that didn't transfer any information; it may be that the amount was too little to worry about (<$10). Assuming the amount is too little to worry about, it would've been nice if TurboTax would have stated that so that I know it was done correctly.
What's great about it: Past information transferred automatically.
What's not so great: 1 financial institution didn't transfer anything; it may be because the amount was too little to worry about.

Very happy with Turbo Tax Deluxe. I have been using it for the last 10 years and am pleased in general with the results.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow
What's not so great: Could not find my last year's return to import
