Still a great product

I have used TurboTax for many years, and I have always found it very easy to use and feel confident that I have gotten every valid deduction I am entitled to and, thus, paid the correct amount. My taxes have ranged from quite simple to somewhat complex and TurboTax has had the internal logic and internal and external resources available to handle each tax situation.
What's great about it: Clear, concise, complete

Quick and Easy!

I have found that TurboTax is the easiest way to file taxes. They walk you through each step - it took me about an hour to go through everything. I also like knowing that I'm in a "low risk" category for a potential audit. Typically see doing taxes as a chore - but this was way too easy....
What's great about it: TurboTax simply walked me all the way through my return. It was very easy.
What's not so great: Seeing how much I have taken out of my paycheck for the year!

Filing Taxes Made Easy

After buying a house 8 years ago, filing taxes became much harder. I turned to Turbo Tax for help and was hooked after the first time. Turbo Tax made filling out forms and filing taxes so much easier.
What's great about it: Detailed help, easy to understand, quickly done

Simple, Easy to Use

We've used Turbo Tax for many years. The software is easy to understand, easy to use, and gives us the feeling of confidence that we've filled out all the paperwork properly. It's great for filing itemized deductions. It's quick and simple.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions that I could understand

Saving returns resulted in message "can't find location of file". Saving without the password worked. Tried to Efile and it wouldn't go through until I reloaded the program and updated it.
What's great about it: Same efficient process as prior years

Educator Expenses

The ONLY thing I don't like about the software is after entering my educator expenses for classroom supplies it tells me that anything over $200 is not enough to meet the job expense category without giving me the chance to enter union dues and subscriptions that are not technically part of the educator expenses but are considered job expenses. I have to manually go back into job deductions and enter these.
What's great about it: Takes care of it seperately
What's not so great: Limits ability to enter other job expenses
