Simple but not always clear

Recommend the product but read everything carefully or you can make errors. The fixes are not clear. You have to trust the program to lead you to the forms you need, but unless you are a tax expert you have to assume these are the correct forms and that nothing is missing.
What's great about it: It does all the math, provides the appropriate forms, leads you through step by step
What's not so great: When there are errors in your return directions for fixing them are not clear.

Done and Gone!

Very straightforward, easy import and up and running. Been a TT customer for decades and I am very pleased. It is simply the standard for me.
What's great about it: Simple, Intuitive, Easy to return to previous..
What's not so great: Miss the "Multimedia". OK, no complaints
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent but too detailed

I am a volunteer tax preparer so that I have an understanding of the tax law and use of tax preparation softwarefor Federal, NJ, NY and PA returns. I have found that most things on TurboTax are good but I also found that the data input screens for capital gains were cumbersome and confusing. This is not to say that I will not use TurboTax in the future. I also think that the cost of e-filing the state return is excessive. Why not include the cost in the initial purchase price?
What's great about it: Carry forward data
What's not so great: Capital Gains data requirements are confusing
