Navigating the support feature is confusing.
I don't like the donation section...too much repetition.

The overall ease of use continues, however.
What's great about it: Quick calculations, transfers from previous year.
What's not so great: Questions are not easy to access.

Stress Reduction

Using Turbo Tax definitely reduces the stress of doing taxes. You are walked through every step if that is what you want. Occasionally I had some trouble figuring out what category pensions fell into, but was able to figure it out. I was frustrated when I was unable to e-file. The program told me to check for updates. But even after checking and downloading updates to the program, I was unable to e- file.
What's great about it: Walks you through each step.
What's not so great: Could not e-file.

Still Tops With Me

I have used this program since it was a little tiny thing back in the late 1980s on my Macintosh, named MacInTax (greatest name for a tax program ever!). I quickly started saying I could not do my taxes year after year without this program. It remembers all by carryover information from last year, and saves me so much time just there! The library of tax forms is complete to all my needs, which can get complicated. Previous year I even was able to use it to report a 1031 tax-free real estate exchange, with the help of an accountant. My only problem this year was trying (and failing) to detach a set of Asset Entry Worksheets and depreciation schedules from my old property and move them to my new property. I found a workaround, fortunately.
What's great about it: Generality and consistency I need
What's not so great: Few and far between

It is a good program that saved me hundreds of dollars. Going to a tax return place - rips you. This is a wonderful and thorough program.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Didnt have all the information and took me more time

I have been using Turbo Tax for more than ten year now, it just seems to get easier and quicker every year. I recommend Turbo Tax for anyone that wants to do their own returns. Couldn't be much easier.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, accurate, up to date
What's not so great: cost of filing state e-file ( not a big con though)

Great software and service

My family and I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Tax laws change constantly and each year we find it very easy to understand how they affect us because Turbo Tax has so many useful and clear explanations, such as those under "What is this?" The language used is friendly and it is meant to educate users instead of intimidating us.

Amazingly simple.

This was my first time doing my taxes on my own. Not only that I also got married last year and got a new job. I thought it was going to be a nightmare to do my taxes. But paying a bunch of money for someone else to do it for me seemed like an even worse idea. I purchased turbo tax, and instantly from the loading screen I had a smile on my face. "Ok, its taking longer than a moment". Classic. In the end I got more money back than I've ever received and even made a list of things to look for next year to hopefully get more money. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Step by step walk through was great.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
