Although I am aware of all the extra steps taken to insure accuracy and compliance, it does seem that a lot of redundancy is in place. I have used Turbo Tax for several years now, on the same computer and yet we must labor through the same questions each time.
What's great about it: Fast, accurate, reliable.
What's not so great: Often cumbersome and overly drawn out

Start to finish all processes are self-explanatory. Help tabs are where you needed them. You can elect to manually enter info or allow Turbo Tax guide you thru. Have been using this program since 2004 and each year has been an improvement.
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate thru. Language clear and concise
What's not so great: Its deductible - unable to list more than 1 item when listing donations of extra value

Easy to Follow!

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. It is so easy and actually takes the stress out of doing taxes.
What's great about it: The flow of the program and ability to go back was great
What's not so great: It seems that update of the program should come before you start, not when you are completed

for the past several years I have been able to file my taxes myself without asking for help from others I feel capable since all they ever did was ask me the questions and input what I said I can do that for myself
