More confusing than previous years, late updates within three weeks before filing deadline, 1099-R data transferred to state not handled properly.
What's not so great: Too many updates coming within three weeks before deadline, Crossover data to PA state not correct

Have been using Turbo Tax since 2005 and have consulted with your professionals on two occasions during that time. Both consultations had positive results. It is probably just me, however, I did have a little trouble determining how to make contact with your professionals.

Quick and Easy Return

I love this program because it make filing a return quick and easy. In just a couple of hours I was able to file an itemized return for Fed and State.
What's great about it: Guides you through everything
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Dependable Assistance

I've been using TurboTax for, I think, at least ten years. I started because I was an IRS employee and we get cut absolutely no slack for errors of any sort--even an amended return is considered cause for a letter of reprimand. I wanted cheap advice I could rely on to keep me out of trouble, and I got it. I have never tried any other tax preparation program, so I can't compare them, but I'm happy with TurboTax and see no reason to switch now.
What's great about it: Exhaustive review, easy to follow instructions, confidence booster
What's not so great: Sometimes a little too exhaustive

Easy To Use

We have a simple tax form, and this has been a very easy program to use. Sure beats paying someone $300 to tell me I owe the government money!
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: someimtes you have a hard time finding answers

Minimized my taxes!

Great tool, helped me a lot. The audit defense gave me the confidence we did it right.
Recommendations:
1.) The prior year download didn't work? Had to enter last year's info manually. You guys need to fix this or make it easier for the user.
2.) Many questions weren't asked of me regarding sale of my home, incidental business expenses. I had to manually search for these topics and lost some entry momentum.
3.) Create a bookmark feature that returns my entry point from where I last entered data. The tool typically goes to the beginning of each section which takes unnecessary time.

What's not so great: some of the issues I have as a UK citizen living in the US and as a grant recipient are not always given as options
