Love My Turbo Tax

I have used this product ever since it came out. Before I retired I prepared taxes as part of my job for over 35 years (before they had software--or even computers to do taxes on) and this software would have saved me lots of overtime! I once tried another product because it was cheaper, but I couldn't figure out the first step, and I am pretty good with software. Ended up pitching it and buying Turbo Tax. Won't make that mistake again. Recommend this to everyone who asks.

Best solution for most people

The input process is straight forward. Capturing the data from the prior year is helpful. Knowing that you have the latest rule etc is the best part.
What's great about it: Walks you through the process
What's not so great: Still need some sense of the return process

This program thinks of EVERYTHING for you, and calculates every option when you're not sure if you qualify for them!
What's great about it: Easy, quick & efficient!

allow purchaser to submit one federal and one state tax return without paying

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and initially they admitted had issues. Nowadays, I sincerely recommend it to my friends because I believe in it
