I like to take it slow when doing my taxes to make sure I don't make mistakes. TurboTax allows me to do just this and lets me get it done.

Estimated tax forms for Illinois

Everything went well until I tried to print the 4 estimated tax forms for Il in 2014. I don't have to pay estimated taxes as the estimated tax for the year is just over 400. However I have paid estimated taxes for previous years and want to do the same in 2014. I have checked my input a few times and every thing seems to be entered properly.

After collecting the data, the returns took very little time. The tools provided allow an easy recognition of differences from year to year and the answers to why things changed.
TurboTax is an excellent product that satisfies year after year.

A Poor Alternative To Do Your Taxes

I personally would not recommend Turbo Tax as they have no save button clearly indicated on each work screen.
What's great about it: If you are aware of how to save your file on your computer it works
What's not so great: No personal support excuse is "it's tax time and our agents are buys."

I like turbo tax because it beats the cost of tax preparer. Its easy to use turbo tax!
What's great about it: that it's easy to understand
What's not so great: some questions wasn't answered when I needed it
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Completed without error

Since the program asks for everything & shows what happened last year, I am confident there will be no errors. The only nuisance is constantly having to reload the disk I purchased; often after updates.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and could not be more satisfied.
Any forms I have needed over the years for special deductions or declarations have been provided. I have used Turbo Tax for business and personal tax returns and they have always come through for me. I have never been audited and feel Turbo Tax has been a very big part of the reason. I would refer any one to Turbo Tax if they asked for a good reliable tax company. Thank you Turbo Tax for helping me.
