Not Too Difficult

I didn't like the change of waiting until the end to update the software. Previous editions did the update at the beginning.
The step by step is fairly easy and quite thorough.
The community support helped with deleting unnecessary forms.
What's great about it: Step by Step was easy to follow
What's not so great: Deleting unnecessary vehicle forms was somewhat difficult

Complex issues made clear

The only glitch for which I had to ask for help in unraveling was the entry of 'Trading in stock options' . It was not clear at first from the Step by Step process how these should be handled. They are not reported to the IRS and thus my broker, Scottrade, was unable to send out any 'imported' information to the Turbo Tax Investments section. I did get a helpful answer from the 'Help' menu however.
What's great about it: Well explained procedure for every item

Great File

I know I was able to zero out the taxes, but that was because I paid Estimated taxes throughout the year as per your 2012 Turbo Tax. However this year I received poor or no guidance to calculate my estimated taxes for 2014. The easy guide steps at the end of the process were not there, and I had to search out the worksheets manually. Bummer!
What's great about it: Like the easy step by step guide through the preparation process
What's not so great: Estimated Taxes

Easier done than said!

I was worried about retirement income in addition to wages. Turbo-tax made it straight forward.
What's great about it: Logical lay-out. A snap to follow

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to Use

The step by step instructions makes completing your taxes easy. More importantly, I like the feature to look at the tax forms to make sure and follow along with the instructions. However, there are a few problems that still need to be address. One is that the step by step programming doesn't ask or allow you to apply some of your refund to next year's taxes. I had to resort to entering the amount into the actual 1040 Form. Fortunately, any changes made to the actual forms are captured in the overall programming.
What's great about it: Easy step by step questions. I like the learn more optional information
What's not so great: The program didn't address how much of my refund I wanted to apply to next year's taxes.

Too many updates after filing return

I really have to wonder how good this product is when updates keep coming. I filed late this year because last year after filing I had to print another copy of the return. when I opened Turbo Tax there were numerous updates again. I have my program set to check for updates automatically and install them before continue with the software.
What's great about it: Good step by step instructions
What's not so great: MARS section was very confusing - never did figure it out.
