I had to select individual forms for the State tax.
What's great about it: Auto receive the complete 1099 from the brokerage
What's not so great: Not very convient to non E-file a state return

Easy as always

When going back to review or make changes you need to go through the whole section instead of just the part you need to fix. Easier way to go a specific spot would be nice
Overall still the best program out there. Easy to use and quick and for the many years I have use it never had any issues with errors or with the IRS
What's great about it: Carryover from last year and reviews at the end
What's not so great: difficult to back track

Had to amend last year's return when it became apparent this year that 2 sections from last year were done incorrectly.
What's great about it: information transferred from previous years
What's not so great: support in short supply

Cheap and easy!

I've used turbo tax for years. My husband is self-employed. We paid for someone to do our taxes for a couple of years which cost us hundreds of dollars. After looking over the tax documents I decided I could do it myself. I filed our taxes for a year or two by hand and then I discovered turbo tax. It was a lot cheaper than paying someone, and it was a lot easier than doing it by hand. I LOVE turbo tax!!

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and it is the best program for the average Joe to do his income tax and feel he did a good job!
What's great about it: Great Program

Still tricky to wade through

Still awkward in places - I find I have to backtrack because the instructions do not prompt you well enough for information or you don't feel things are called out well enough. I entered business tolls in the wrong place for example.

Well worth the $$$

TurboTax is an excellent product that enables users with some Tax knowledge to do their complicated returns themselves without needing to go to a professional preparer. The downloading option from financial providers is an indispensable feature especially when dealing with reporting myriad data on extensive financial transactions.
What's great about it: I have used TurboTax for several years and would not have been able to do my own return without it.
What's not so great: None that I have encountered
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
