Would like future Turbo Tax products to partition all categories, such deductions and credits, to allow easy access to all the imported data that may have been used in a category to be easily changed and not just the data used in the spread-sheet calculations in that category.
What's great about it: Makes the recalculations when correcting/changing numerical figures in a category fast and accurate.

It was the easiest year yet

I dread doing my taxes every year, but once I start I am ok. This year Turbo Tax seemed to read my mind and answer my questions before I asked. I had an investment schedule that I didn't know what to do with and up pops an answer the exact form number and an explanation of what I should do with it.
I briefly saw something about Turbo Tax helping me keep track of deductions throughout the year which seemed like a good idea to me. Especially contributions.
What's great about it: reminded me of some deductions i hadn't thought about
What's not so great: recording and determining value of the donation of things

I have been using turbo tax for many years. It is a predictable, quality product.
What's great about it: Explore on my own, it makes the process faster. Prior year tax info rolls forward.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

When I exit out of turbtax and return 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week later why am I not returned to exactly where I was last at??? It would be nice to not have to basically go through each step again just to get back to the last place visited. I've noticed this in past versions as well and it is very frustrating.
Also, I thought I had an option of the date of my choosing to pay my taxes. I didn't see that. I can only assume my taxes will be paid on April 15. I hope. Will they?? I think that's what it meant. There was an asterisk* I guess I had better check my credit card on the 15th to make sure payment was sent

OK But Updates are a Pain

The update process is painful especially when you are ready to file electronically and you can't because the software thinks there is an update that you haven't installed. I kept installing and installing the update(s) and it was never fully complete. I had to quit the program a couple of times before I could finally transmit electronically.
Also it would be really nice to be able to review what's been entered without having to go through the entire process steps again. Give us an option as to where we want to go specifically

Too much time reviewing

Had problems with the paid mortgage interest and points. One section showed a larger total than the total at the end. I spent too much time reviewing this to find out which figure Turbo Tax used.
Also general sales tax forms were there, but the figure wasn't added in originally. Took an extra time to see the result.
Too many questions about insurance and products asked after tax is completed before you are allowed to file.
May look for a different tax product next year.

What's great about it: Like INTUITS IT"S DEDUCTIBLE
What's not so great: Too many confusing issues.
